CLASSIC PORSCHES: GENERATIONS OF GENIUS contains a decent quick history, but nothing new. What sets it off are the absolutely spectacular photographs in a midi-coffee table 15 x 11 inch format. Sort of a poor man's Lucinda Evans PORSCHE; FINE ART OF THE SPORTS CAR.  Generations lists at $19.95 for 159 pages while Fine Art lists at $100 for 320 slightly larger pages. Covered in the first 69 pages are 356 01 roadster (still with incorrect details); a very non-restored - split window, interim bumper car with later horn grills screwed right to the bodywork; the 356 SL; 356A coupe; 356A Speedster; Super 90 roadster; Carrera Abarth; 718/8 RS Spyder; 356C Carrera 2; and a 904GTS. A new but overlooked book. I rate it two preA mushroom shift knobs up!
